I have been paralyzed with a psychological disability for years. Most of it involved negative self-talk. I have recently resumed the reins of my life, started losing weight, and pursuing a 2nd masters. Talking to a friend last night, he started to criticize my choices, it was a bad field to go into, I would fail again, I wouldn’t have enough “me” time. I just blocked him out. I refuse to be paralyzed again! I have a goal and I am going for it, even if it has to be modified along the way. I have broken through and I’m not going to drown in self-pity again!
