“When you believe something is impossible, your mind goes to work for you to prove why. But when you believe, really believe, something can be done, your mind goes to work for you and helps you find the ways to do it.” ~David J. Schwartz

Yeah  but yeah but yeah but…AaarghI’ve tried to get something to happen for over twenty years and it ought to be possible.. most other people can…. it is technically possible and I believe it but I have not achieved it!This feels like it’s just my fault and if only I’d believe a bit more, it would happen, like clapping my hands if I believe in fairies or something. You are probably right. On some level Ihave probably given up believing, even though I still try to achieve it.

Take a cue from the image, and hang in there. There’s plenty of fight left in you.

Anonymous:I can feel the resistance to accepting that you can do it , just in your conversation, I agree with ian if you are still fighting yourself you have lots of fight left to accomplish this.  Form the intent, the real intent that you are going to move out of your own way and achieve it.   You are free!

Initially we believe we can accomplishment something important to us with all our hearts. It’s years of trial and error that defeats our belief.  This is a natural adaptive mechanism as who would survive in ancient times believing they would discover food and water that never materialized?  I believe this I’d why it’s difficult to sustain our belief in something that has repeatedly failed to materialize.  How does one get past the natural construction of the brain?Deb

It’s nothing like banging your head against the same brick wall. Sometimes you have to be confident to know you can let go. We can learn different levels of our perspectives, which enables us to rearrange our path. Don’t be discouraged about a dud of sn idea, at least you gave it thought and or tried.
