This is, essentially, the answer my mom gave me when I was old enough to stop believing… that Santa is the “spirit” of Christmas. Love this. Well played, Mom and Dad.
Love the thoughts wishing all of you a happy holy and blessed christmasFr KerrLove all of you
I’m only 9 and I found out Santa was not real from a poston breanne cresswells board kids and there it was right on front of my eyes I believed in Santa and it made me upsetto find out the truth
I’m only 11 years old i think that Santa is real because i believe in him but i don’t believe in the tooth fairy because that is my mom. if you believe in god you have to believe Santa because they are kinda the same but a little different. All you have to do is just believe.

Who is it Anne? We’re happy to cite the source.
Here’s the original letter, which was written in 2009 by author Martha Brockenbrough to her daughter Lucy. I read it then and was extremely moved by it. I hate that whoever basically copied it over in their own handwriting and addressed it to their son is getting credit for it! http://parenting.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/12/16/no-longer-believing-in-santa/
