broken heart 3

“I can tell you that you will have your hearts broken more by the people you love than by the people you hate. But you must still dare to love. The rewards are worth far more than the risks.” ~ Margaret Peterson Haddix

If you still dare to love and keep loving the ones that did hurt you, love changes and grows in a refined way in both heart and spirit.Through pain and agony ( it can hurt!) love more and more develloped in a Love that respects nothing in return, wishes the other only to be happy, and even from a distance I learned (and learn) to embrace their shadows in spirit, see them even more in their total being than I could see them when in fysical contact. “agapé”.  The paradox of distance and closeness, as we are all part of All?Twice in my life I experienced that unselfish Love was purpose of life; I than felt for just a moment, pondering over them before going to sleep, a flash of totally selfless love for two different men, and both times dreamt afterwards that I went to a place where there were no more dreams, no words, no images. And than woke up in the morning in such an unearthly state of total and all surrounding fulfillment of Being, that it lasted for weeks and weeks. And even now, over 21 years ago, as I write it down, sharing it for the first time,  I still KNOW there is this “place”….call it Heaven, AUM,  Ein Sof, or call it place where all wishes, all pain, all thoughts, all imperfections are gone… Maybe an experience of Heaven (while) on Earth. The nothing is All?  Where there is no more “thing”?But the keyword both times was the experience of tuning in, or being (for a moment) “in love in loves purest essence”… It is direction of my compassneedle as a traveller ;-).xm p.s love the picture: two ancient rocks – love
