Your life is so full of blessings. You could literally count them, and never come to an end. You can give away kindness without losing an ounce of your abundance. So give away some love today and enjoy the feeling that your own life is fuller with each act of kindness.

Kindness is elementary. It’s a great way to start the day, a great way to start a friendship and a great way to start out in life. So practice kindness with young children. Visit your local elementary school and demonstrate the contagious joy of giving.

Do something like: Donate a colorful fish in a tank to a class. Help with a reading program.

Do at least one thing today that you won’t see the benefit from, as a reminder that you build a platform for future generations. Be creative. Let your act be a reminder of the many unknown and unnamed acts of kindness that your life is built upon, and feel enormous gratitude for the web of life that supports your existence.

We are all connected. Live and love fully and joyfully. Give without needing to receive, act without needing praise, encourage without needing a response. Give kindness wastefully because there is no difference between giving and receiving when people are truly connected.

What are you waiting for? If you store up your treasures in barns, you could miss your chance to enjoy them. Apply the same principle to much larger things than money – like kindness or praise. If you store up kindness or encouragement for some future time, you just might miss your chance to express them. Don’t delay. Express something you have been meaning to say. Do it today.

The good you do today could easily be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. You don’t need any reward or tribute because you know you have expressed your deepest joy. You have kindness in your DNA. Do what you love and do what fills you with energy, and this will be its own reward. You may never hear about it, but the seed of your goodness will bear fruit somewhere and sometime.

Perform random acts of cyber kindness. Everyone needs the encouragement and inspiration you have to offer. Give it freely and anonymously, and others will view the world as a kinder place. Pretty soon your kindness will go viral.

Do something like: Send inspiring emails out of an unidentified email account. Leave an encouraging note on a stranger’s blog.

When you put your signature to paper, you indicate that you are true to your word. Your acts of kindness are signatures on the lives of others and, in fact, on the whole earth. They indicate that you are true to your heart. Aim to write your heart’s signature at least once today. Sign your name “kindness” on the earth.

Go the extra mile in making someone feel loved today. Take someone’s mail from the mail box to their front door. When your food arrives at a restaurant stand up and help the waiter serve the table. The waiter will be surprised, the rest of the table will get a kick out of it, and you will feel great.

Decide to use some energy today to increase kindness in the world. Do what you can in whatever situations you are in to add kindness to the lives of those around you today. End the day in no doubt that you have done what you could, where you could, to make a difference.

Kitchen tables are great places for stories, wisdom, laughter, and also kindness. Prepare your kitchen table for kindness by preparing your heart and mind with love. Make it your intention to affirm everyone around the table in at least one way.

Practice true lawn care. Start your own lawn care non-profit and non-fuss venture. After mowing your own lawn, do your neighbors as well. You will brighten your neighbor’s day, you will feel awesome yourself and the lawn will radiate kindness.

Do something like: Plant a sunflower in a neighbor’s lawn. Rake some leaves up for a neighbor.

Do you want to make a difference in the world? You can make a difference by “making up the difference.” With your kindness, you can put a whole new complexion on someone’s day. You can turn an ordinary moment or chore into a miracle that will be long remembered.

Do something like: Leave $20 in an envelope for the bank teller to open a new account for the next customer that comes in with a new baby. It will make the teller’s day as well.

You don’t have to solve the problems of the world. Simply love the world, and that will make all the difference. You don’t even have to love the entire world at once. Just love one person in one way today and that will be enough.

Do something like: Go to your local hospital and leave flowers for someone who hasn’t been visited that day. Have your local church deliver a food basket to a shut in.

Pick someone up by picking up after them. You will pick up their spirits to no end. Pick a person who seems to deserve your kindness least. They may need it the most. Just wait to see the look on their faces. Kindness is the ultimate pick me up.

Do something like: At a coffee shop or fast food restaurant, on your way to the trash can stop and ask a stranger if you can take their trash for them. Take your neighbor’s trash can in from the curbside.

Aim to end your life with empty pockets. Give your time, talent and treasure while you have time. You were given so much as a gift by those who went before you, and now it is your turn to make sure that you leave the world a better place because you were in it. Give your wisdom, praise and encouragement freely, and you will create heaven on earth.

Do something like: Tell the telephone call center person he/she is doing a great job.

Your cup runs over with abundance. So share some of the love. It’s been said that to the optimist the glass is half full, and to the pessimist the glass is half empty. To the person hooked on kindness, the glass is large enough and full enough to share with all around you.

Do something like: Buy an extra cup of coffee or tea for someone in a café.

Today is a great day to give something valuable away. Give a compliment. Give blood. Give a beaming smile that stops someone in their tracks. Give a gift for no particular reason. Give freely and feel your own wealth multiplying with each gift. You are becoming fuller and more fulfilled with each act of kindness.
