    I watched with helpless sadness as the children of my own family abandonned their spirituality and creativity to the treadmill of peer pressure, and this is lasting into their thirties. Was I like this ? No, thank God, my sense of wonder has sustained me through the darkest times.

    So true. Being free and fearless with little inhibitions is priceless.

    You have no idea how timely this was for me! Nearing 30, my family and boyfriend are a bit wary of me quitting an 8-5 comfortable job to go freelance. But the bird in me needs to sing, sort of hard to do in the confines of an office. 🙂
