“Do not try and bend the spoon. That’s impossible. Instead only try to realize the truth. Then you’ll see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.” ~  The Matrix ~ Bend your mind around this thought and realize the power of your mind.

NOT TRUE. Check Wikipedia for Uri Geller, aka ‘The Spoon Bender’. His early career began with using “mind power” to bend spoons.

mind is the most powerful  weapon we have.  it will choose to act the way we command

I just finished typing a blog entry that in an odd way parallels this? It was about perspective. It was an earnest attempt of me to put myself into someone else’s shoes so I could think and feel from their view. It took some turns and went down a rabbit trail or twelve because that’s how my mind works… but the point of it all was that more than anything I know the person who I wrote about is a life coach, cheerleader, caretaker, compassionate bedfellow and friend who is able to connect and engage anyone on any level. I admire my friend so much for that. If he is a 10, I am 7.8… for now. I was closer but life happens. Perspective, perception is everything. It’s that person’s reality and reality trumps words… In the end, my friend is loved. Our realities are quite different now…reflective of the spoon’s purpose in the photo above.
