Simple really.
Just notes. Notes tucked into books.
His idea,
all his.

An afternoon of errands.
Dull, boring,
mindless endless

“Just running in”
He waited
in the car
with his thoughts.

“Right, library next’
I bustle
checking things off.
Not quite done.

He sat
with scraps of paper
on his lap.
Notes to somebody.

“I hope you enjoy this book”
with a smiley face.
That was all,
that was plenty

He folded and tucked
each into a book.

Smiling at the thought
of the someone
finding his

A thought
random, kind.
From a kid
tucked into a book.
